Home Team Title serves clients across Western Kentucky and West Tennessee, with offices in Murray, Mayfield & Clinton.

Lead attorney Greg Taylor and the the Murray team have over 20 years of experience and have closed thousands of transactions in both Kentucky and Tennessee. In our Murray office, Matt Pool has over 15 years experience in title production and closing and is well-known for his excellent work.

In the Mayfield and Clinton offices, Connie Stephens and attorney Nick Thomas lead a team of talented real estate professionals. Connie serves as the title officer and has over 30 years of experience in the title industry, while Nick has over 10 years of experience practicing law.

Home Team Title is an authorized agent for Old Republic Title Insurance, Fidelity Title Insurance and First American Title Insurance and our team is licensed to provide title insurance in both Kentucky and Tennessee. From the simplest cash transaction to the most complicated commercial deals, we are here to provide the highest level of customer service. We enjoy helping each client meet their unique goals.

Because we are affiliated with Greg Taylor & Associates, PLLC, we can handle all of your real estate needs, including deeds, leases, land contracts, and 1031 exchanges. Greg Taylor

A Calloway County native, Greg Taylor is an attorney licensed in Kentucky and Tennessee. He’s been practicing law in his hometown since graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2003. He earned his bachelor of arts from Murray State University in 2000 and graduated from Christian Fellowship High School in Marshall County in 1996.

Greg practices law in the areas of real estate, corporate law, estate planning and probate, and elder law. When he’s not working, Greg is active in the Murray and Calloway County community. He has previously served on the Murray City Council and on the United Way of Murray-Calloway County board. Currently, Greg serves on the board of directors for Life House Care Center, 212 Campus Ministry, Murray Christian Fellowship and Soup for the Soul. He and his wife, Kristin, have three children, Cate, Ben and Rachel. They like to cheer for the Racers and spend time at Kentucky Lake.


Angie Phillips

Angie Phillips joined Home Team Title, LLC in the Mayfield office in January, 2020. Angie has been working in the real estate field for over twenty years. She has worked in various areas such as indexing with the clerk’s office, abstracting, and title processing for title companies. She obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business from Southeastern Louisiana University graduating with honors in 2000. Angie recently moved to Kentucky from Louisiana and enjoys spending time with her family and being involved with her church.


Connie Stephens

Connie joined the team in January 2020. Connie is a Certified Kentucky Paralegal, with knowledge in various areas of the law practice, with more than 30 years experience where she has focused primarily on real estate transactions and closings. Connie received her degree in Business Administration in 1982 from Draughon’s Junior College of Business, graduating Suma Cum Laude. She began her career as a legal assistant with the law firm of E. Dan Sharp, Jr. prior to receiving her degree in 1982. Connie is a current active member of the Kentucky Paralegal Association and West Kentucky Paralegals. She is a native of Graves County, Kentucky where she resides with her husband, Randy Stephens.


Matthew Pool

Matt joined the team in while still in college at Murray State University and has been working for Greg Taylor & Associates and Home Team Title for 14 years. Matt lives in Murray with his wife Ashton and enjoys refereeing high school football and watching Murray State basketball.


Nicholas S. Thomas

A lifelong resident of Mayfield, Nick graduated from Graves County High School in 2004 and then spent the next seven years in Lexington, where he attended the University of Kentucky for both undergraduate and law school. In 2008, Nick graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor of Art degrees in both history and political science and then earned his juris doctorate in 2011.

After passing the bar, Nick returned to Mayfield in 2012, where he has since worked as a lawyer focused on real estate, estate planning, probate, corporate, and municipal law. Nick is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Nick is a member and former secretary of the Mayfield Kiwanis Club and has served with Project CARAT of Paducah and the Mayfield-Graves County Fuller Center for Housing. In his free time, Nick can be found enjoying various card, board, and video games at his local game store.
